Job summary

Magna Seating, part of Magna International, is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Engineer in Turkey to design, implement, and continually improve automation systems for JIT/JIS automotive seat production. You will collaborate with production, maintenance, quality and IT teams to upgrade equipment, develop robotics and vision solutions, and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
8+ years in manufacturing engineering, automation, or controls.
Very good knowledge of English.
Experience with automation projects and manufacturing equipment troubleshooting.
Experience with ABB/KUKA robotics.
Root Cause Analysis and manufacturing analytics experience.
Residence in Kocaeli.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement and improve automation systems for JIT/JIS seats production.
Support robotics, vision, material handling and automated feeding systems.
Upgrade equipment, drive process improvements, and install new equipment.
Develop PLC, HMI, robot and vision system development and troubleshooting.
Prepare commissioning, testing and startup activities and maintain docs.
