Job summary

Acwa is seeking a senior Planning & Scheduling professional to lead the development and monitoring of Level 3 and Level 4 schedules for large PV projects in Turkey. The role requires close collaboration with EPC contractors, BD teams, and project management to ensure on-schedule delivery and risk mitigation.

The candidate will drive the implementation of project control tools, monitor critical path, and prepare monthly reports for the Off taker and AcwaPower, including handling any EOT claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory.
• Min 10 years in planning/scheduling of large projects, with at least 5 years in PV projects and 1 fully completed project.
• EPC experience mandatory; experience as a developer/owner is a plus.
• Proficiency in Primavera Planning & Scheduling and project control tools; MS Office suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement PPA & EPC contracts related to planning and reporting.
• Support BD in verification of EPC contract appendices and documents related to schedule and key dates.
• Develop Level 3 schedule with EPC contractor and ensure proper use of WBS, progress curves, and KPI tracking.
• Monitor critical path and milestones; prepare Level 4 schedules and detailed registers for weekly progress monitoring.
• Review monthly progress reports and prepare reporting for Off taker and AcwaPower; analyze EOT claims when raised.

Job description

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Planning, Scheduling, of large projects, with at least 5 years in PV Projects, with 1 project fully completed. In case that PV experience can not be ensured, the candidate shall demonstrate that he has a outstanding profile with 10 years minimum experience in conventional/Oil&Gas/other renewables technology.
• Experience in the EPC side is mandatory. Experience as a developer/Owner is welcome.
• Proficiency in Primavera Planning & Scheduling Software and tools related to project control (including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite tools).
• To have the taste for field missions, being rigorous, methodical, and organized.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

Technical requirements and responsibilities:

• Detailed analysis and continuous understanding/implementation of the PPA and EPC Contracts in all related to planning and reporting;
• Support to the BD team in terms of verification of EPC Contract appendices and different documents and tools linked to the definition of Schedule and Key dates.

• Planning and schedule:
• Together with the EPC Contractor, responsible of development of the Level 3 schedule and project control procedures, including the correct implementation of all project control tools, such as WBS, progress curves, monthly/weekly updates and reporting,…
• Continuous monitoring of the Critical Path activities, with special attention to implementation of proper milestones and KPIs for anticipated warning to the Project Management team.
• Ensure the proper implementation, together with the EPC Contractor, of the detailed project control tools, focusing on the preparation of the Level4 schedules and different detailed registers for proper monitoring of the weekly progress.

• Reporting:
• Review and comments to the Monthly progress report coming from the EPC Contractor, with special focus on all contractual issues that can be a risk for the Project Company or the schedule itself.
• Related to the reporting to the Off taker, responsibility of preparing the monthly progress report to the Off taker and the different presentations for the monthly progress meeting.
• Preparation of the different reporting to AcwaPower in a monthly basis.
• In the event that an EOT claim is arising in the project, responsible to prepare/analyze/configure the different analysis in front of the EPC/Off taker.
