Job summary

Kerry is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Leader for its Dilovası site in Turkey. You will drive production, materials, and supply planning, while aligning with global strategy and ensuring optimized stock levels and timely information for production schedules.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing or food industries, strong Turkish and English communication, and SAP proficiency. A hands-on leader will manage procurement and logistics with a focus on risk mitigation and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or food industry.
• Must have strong communication skills in Turkish and English (oral and written).
• SAP expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, supply planning, and material planning for the Dilovası site.
• Set strategic direction and objectives for the department in line with business strategy.
• Manage inventories and optimize stock levels and movement of materials.
• Ensure availability of information to support production schedules and customer needs.
• Support strategic sourcing and procurement processes.
• Define and manage purchase orders under negotiated agreements.
• Lead and monitor procurement, materials, and logistics processes with internal controls.
• Identify supply chain improvement opportunities and drive KPI-based improvements.
• Lead supply reviews for the plant and provide capacity outlook and action plans.

About The Role

Key responsibilities

• Lead out Production planning, Supply Planning, Material Planning


• Set strategic direction and objectives for the department in conjunction with business strategy


• Manage, drive and control planning activities of raw materials, packaging materials, production in our Dilovasi site and traded goods


• Manage all inventories and ensure optimized stock levels and movement of materials. Stock at risk management and action planning


• Ensure availability of information and inventory to support, production schedules and customer needs.


• Support strategic sourcing in conjunction with commodity management group by providing usage requirements to support demand


• Define and manage the process for executing purchase orders under agreements negotiated by procurement


• Manage the processes for delivery of all procurement, materials and logistics activities. Ensure compliance with Internal Control.


• Support commercialization projects which are related to Supply Chain. Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives and options to mitigate risk


• Train and provide development opportunities for staff. Monitor and evaluate team members. Attract, retain and develop high potential talent with clear succession planning


• Identifies strategic opportunities for supply chain improvement and works closely with peers, regional, manufacturing and global network.


• Implements and manages appropriate KPIS to monitor and improve performance


• Lead out the Supply review for the plant and provide outlook on capacity and action plans

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree level (preferably Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent)


• At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry or food industry


• Must have strong communication skills in Turkish and English (oral and written) and good organizational and leadership qualities to lead the department.


• Must be a highly driven individual with good track record in leadership role to apply and execute all duties in the role
