Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to plan, organize, and implement structured patient treatments under supervision. You will provide group and/or individual therapy across diagnostic categories and ages, following approved treatment plans and schedules.

The role requires an OTA degree, Ohio license, NBCOT certification, and a valid driver's license, with opportunities to cross-train and support clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant Program.
• Certification by NBCOT and State of Ohio license.
• Attention to detail.
• Minimum of one clinical rotation in a Rehabilitation Services setting.
• Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance (HomeCare).

Responsibilities

• Completes annual competencies appropriate to position.
• Provides treatment interventions based on a plan.
• Documents patient care accurately and timely.
• Demonstrates cross-training willingness per credentials and department needs.
• Assists with orientation of new staff and/or students.
