Job summary

Hyundai Motor Türkiye is seeking a Part Quality Engineer to join the Advanced Quality team in İzmit. You will identify and resolve supplier issues, monitor countermeasures, track EO/4M changes, and drive continual quality improvements across supplier operations.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical/metallurgy degree, 2+ years in automotive quality, fluency in English, and proficiency with SPC/MSA/FMEA and CATIA V5. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy & Material Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive industry experience focusing on project quality and quality management.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong expertise in automotive core tools such as SPC, MSA, and FMEA.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 and related documentation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and tolerancing.
• Familiarity with CATIA V5.
• Proactive in quality and process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and teamwork.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve inline, offline, and PDI part group issues with suppliers.
• Monitor and confirm countermeasures at supplier sites.
• Track EO & 4M changes at supplier lines ensuring EPI deadlines.
• Seek quality improvement opportunities and prepare reports.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in supplier operations.
• Support new vehicle development processes and approve project quality documentation.
• Monitor quality trends and drive supplier continuous improvement.
• Conduct supplier audits to ensure quality standards.
• Perform data-driven analysis to diagnose problems and develop solutions.
• Develop and maintain inspection standards aligning with customer requirements.
