Job summary

Socomec SAS in Istanbul (Maltepe) is seeking an Order Processing Officer to support our supply chain team on a short-term contract. You will be a key interface between customers, factories, logistics partners and internal teams to ensure reliable order fulfillment and exceptional customer experience.

You will handle order entry in ERP, monitor progress, and coordinate with factories, warehouses, and transport providers while driving continuous improvements across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade or a related field.
• First experience in logistics, order management, customer service or a similar environment.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Professional level of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the ERP system and ensure data accuracy throughout the order lifecycle.
• Follow up customer orders and proactively communicate delivery dates and order status updates.
• Coordinate daily activities with factories, warehouses, transport providers and customs authorities to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Manage customer complaints, claims and order-related issues while ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor backlog, analyze priorities and prepare regular performance and order status reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, service quality and supply chain processes.

Join our Supply Chain team in Istanbul and contribute to delivering an outstanding customer experience in an international and fast-moving environment. Acting as a key interface between customers, factories, logistics partners and internal teams, you play a central role in ensuring reliable order fulfillment. Under the management of the Supply Chain Manager, you ensure the seamless processing and follow-up of customer orders while contributing to the continuous improvement of supply chain performance.

Responsibilities
