Job summary

Festo SE & Co. KG in Manisa is seeking a Non-Production Material Buyer to lead indirect and technical procurement, aligning with our manufacturing goals.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, IT, and Facilities while driving supplier relationships, negotiations, and cost optimization.

Fluent English and experience with SAP Ariba are required; a engineering degree and 3+ years in procurement are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years in indirect/technical procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience in supplier management, sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
• Proficient in SAP and SAP Ariba.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage indirect and technical procurement activities in line with company strategy and objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including supplier identification, RFQ management, commercial evaluations, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Support manufacturing operations through procurement of technical equipment, spare parts, maintenance requirements, services, and production-supporting materials.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, IT, and Facility Management teams.
• Conduct commercial negotiations regarding pricing, lead times, service levels, and contractual terms.
• Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier development, and demand consolidation.
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage supply risks to ensure business continuity.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX projects, supplier onboarding activities, supplier assessments, and contract administration processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and ethical sourcing standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in indirect or technical procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in supplier management, sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical purchasing activities.
• Proficiency in SAP and SAP Ariba.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in an international manufacturing environment is preferred.
