Job summary

Spektrum Labs, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Administrator/Engineer to support NATO NCIA projects in Izmir, Türkiye. You will administer LAN/WAN, design changes, and ensure secure network operations for CIS services.

The role requires CCNA or equivalent for administrators, CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent for engineers, strong English documentation, and NATO security awareness. On-site work with potential travel to NATO sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualification in networking, telecoms, IT or related field.
• 3+ years admin LAN/WAN or 4+ years as engineer, depending on level.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking: Ethernet, VLANs, STP, IP addressing and subnetting; OSPF; BGP at engineer level.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Juniper or HPE network equipment.
• DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SNMP, QoS, VPNs, firewalls and redundancy.
• Experience with network monitoring and incident/change/configuration management.
• CCNA or equivalent (admin); CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent (engineer).
• Clear technical documentation and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless controllers and related network services.
• Prepare, peer-check, apply, verify and record approved network configuration changes per change management.
• Support VoIP and SIP, coordinate with WAN and carrier providers, and test connectivity.
• Analyze monitoring data, logs and telemetry to identify performance issues and risks.
• Maintain configuration baselines, network diagrams, IP address records and procedures.
• Engineer level: design network specifications and implementation plans including capacity planning.
• Plan and execute installations, upgrades, migrations and technology refreshes.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and develop automation for config, backup and validation.
• Apply security standards and coordinate with cyber security, systems and project teams.
