Job summary

DEVA Holding A.Ş. invites applications for a Cost Accounting Specialist in its Financial Reporting & Accounting Department at the Halkalı Head Office, Istanbul.

You will support period-end closings, help calculate production costs, and analyze variances using SAP FI/CO/MM, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years in cost accounting within manufacturing, strong Excel skills, English proficiency, and a proactive, process-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of solid experience in cost accounting and reporting specifically within a manufacturing company.
• Proven expertise and hands-on experience in SAP CO (Controlling) and MM modules is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment when required.
• Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
• For male candidates, completion of military service is required.
• Experience in the processes related to the Domestic Goods Certificate (Yerli Malı Belgesi) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supporting cost accounting period-end closing operations.
• Assisting in the accurate calculation of production costs (raw materials, labor, overhead, etc.) using SAP FI, CO, and MM modules
• Assisting in the analysis of variances by comparing standard and actual product costs and identifying potential root causes
• Supporting cost accounting analyses before and after month-end closing;
• Ensuring that assigned cost accounting activities are carried out in compliance with local regulations (SPK, VUK) and other applicable legislation
• Supporting external audit processes by preparing and providing required documentation and information
• Actively participating in and following up on Domestic Goods Certificate (Yerli Malı Belgesi) processes and monitoring relevant legislative and regulatory changes
• Performing other duties assigned by the manager
