Job summary

Eaton Ankara sites (Temelli and Sincan) seek a Maintenance Engineer to lead daily maintenance, facilities activities, and improvement projects. You will supervise maintenance personnel, drive safety, and coordinate resources to meet production goals.

The role requires TPM experience, SAP proficiency, and strong problem-solving and leadership skills. You will manage budgets, spare parts strategies, and capital planning while advancing asset reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience with maintenance.
• Experience in metal fabrication and TPM programs.
• Experience implementing TPM and sustaining a TPM program.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and facilities activities across Ankara sites, including daily operations and projects.
• Develop and audit preventive and predictive maintenance programs (IR, ultrasound, vibration).
• Coach and direct maintenance staff; plan work and manage resources.
• Manage maintenance spending, procure services, and allocate resources within budget.
• Support energy tracking, asset lifecycle, and capital planning.

What you’ll do:The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the Eaton Ankara sites' (Temelli and Sincan) maintenance and facilities activities. This includes daily general maintenance along with various project work. The position will be responsible for maintenance employees concerning job performance, attendance, discipline, and administrative actions while continuously improving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. The individual will serve as a critical member of the Manufactoring team. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours.• Lead maintenance and facilities activities for the Ankara Sincan sites, including daily operations and improvement projects.• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, Life Saving Rules, LOTO, machine guarding and arc-flash requirements, supporting a Zero Incident Safety Culture.• Direct, train and develop maintenance personnel; plan work, review performance, strengthen engagement and coordinate required resources.• Develop, implement and audit preventive, productive and predictive maintenance programs, including IR, ultrasound, vibration and lubrication analysis.• Improve equipment reliability and availability through PDCA, structured troubleshooting and close coordination with production planning and supervisors.• Lead continuous improvement activities that enhance safety, quality, productivity, equipment performance and operational efficiency.• Manage maintenance spending, contractor selection, service procurement and resource allocation in line with budget and cost-control targets.• Develop spare-parts and asset lifecycle strategies covering stocking, repair, capital equipment, obsolete assets, records and disposals.• Support OPEX and capital planning, manage energy tracking and cost-reduction systems, and coordinate stakeholders and contractors to complete commitments.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or master degree from Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, MechatronicsMinimum 3 years of solid manufacturing background including maintenance background.Experience in metal fabrication.SAP business system experience.Experience implementing and sustaining a TPM program.Skills:Relevant computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, compliance software).Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.Ability to negotiate with all levels of management, both internally and externally.Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate positive and constructive feedback to employees or co-workers.Ability to direct the training, motivation, and development of personnel.Experienced with working in a PM System.Fundamental understanding of Asset Reliability Principles.Ability to reach consensus to best support the employee, the business, and the customer.Strong understanding of budget control.Great problem-solving skillsAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
