Job summary

Eaton Group in Ankara seeks a Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance and facilities at the Temelli and Sincan sites, overseeing staff, planning work, and driving safety, reliability, and productivity.

You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, coordinate resources, ensure EHS compliance, and support budgeting and asset lifecycle strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 3 years of solid manufacturing background including maintenance.
• Experience in metal fabrication.
• SAP business system experience.
• Experience implementing and sustaining a TPM program.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and facilities activities for the Ankara Sincan sites, including daily operations and improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, Life Saving Rules, LOTO, machine guarding and arc-flash requirements, supporting a Zero Incident Safety Culture.
• Direct, train and develop maintenance personnel; plan work, review performance, strengthen engagement and coordinate resources.
• Develop, implement and audit preventive, productive and predictive maintenance programs (IR, ultrasound, vibration, lubrication).
• Improve equipment reliability and availability through PDCA and close coordination with production planning.

What you’ll do:

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the Eaton Ankara sites' (Temelli and Sincan) maintenance and facilities activities. This includes daily general maintenance along with various project work. The position will be responsible for maintenance employees concerning job performance, attendance, discipline, and administrative actions while continuously improving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. The individual will serve as a critical member of the Manufactoring team. The individual reports directly to the Maintenance leader

• Lead maintenance and facilities activities for the Ankara Sincan sites, including daily operations and improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, Life Saving Rules, LOTO, machine guarding and arc-flash requirements, supporting a Zero Incident Safety Culture.
• Direct, train and develop maintenance personnel; plan work, review performance, strengthen engagement and coordinate required resources.
• Develop, implement and audit preventive, productive and predictive maintenance programs, including IR, ultrasound, vibration and lubrication analysis.
• Improve equipment reliability and availability through PDCA, structured troubleshooting and close coordination with production planning and supervisors.
• Lead continuous improvement activities that enhance safety, quality, productivity, equipment performance and operational efficiency.
• Manage maintenance spending, contractor selection, service procurement and resource allocation in line with budget and cost-control targets.
• Develop spare-parts and asset lifecycle strategies covering stocking, repair, capital equipment, obsolete assets, records and disposals.
• Support OPEX and capital planning, manage energy tracking and cost-reduction systems, and coordinate stakeholders and contractors to complete commitments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master degree from Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronics

• Minimum 3 years of solid manufacturing background including maintenance background.

• Experience in metal fabrication.

• SAP business system experience.

• Experience implementing and sustaining a TPM program.

Skills:

Relevant computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, compliance software).

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Ability to negotiate with all levels of management, both internally and externally.

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate positive and constructive feedback to employees or co-workers.

Experienced with working in a PM System.

Fundamental understanding of Asset Reliability Principles.
