Job summary

Rixos Hotels is seeking a Cluster Group & Banquet Sales Executive for Rixos Tersane İstanbul. You will handle group and banquet enquiries, prepare proposals, and convert opportunities into booked business while growing new relationships with luxury clients.

In this role you will coordinate with Operations, Reservations and F&B to maximize revenue, upsell services, and ensure seamless events. English is preferred; experience with PMS/CRM is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in Group Sales, Banquet Sales, Event Sales, MICE or Corporate Sales, preferably luxury hotels.
• Good understanding of group bookings, meetings, events, and banquet sales processes.
• Strong sales mindset with excellent communication and client relationship management.
• Ability to prepare proposals, follow up inquiries, and support sales closing.
• Strong commercial awareness with upselling and revenue opportunities.
• Excellent planning, organization and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously.
• Strong coordination across departments; proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with PMS, CRM, or sales systems preferred; English fluency important.
• Flexible, proactive, and guest-focused in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Strong team player and results-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle and follow up Group & Banquet enquiries, including events and meetings.
• Prepare and submit proposals aligned with availability, pricing, and strategy.
• Follow up on proposals to convert into contracted business.
• Generate new Group & Banquet sales opportunities and build client relationships.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts for repeat business.
• Re-engage past and inactive accounts to identify opportunities.
• Ensure reservations are entered with complete information in relevant systems.
• Communicate guest, group, and event details to Front Office, F&B, and other departments.
• Identify upselling opportunities across rooms, restaurants, and event spaces.
• Support forecasting, reports, and sales analyses with the Director of Sales.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and sales calls as needed.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing.
