Job summary

Stryker is seeking an entry-level logistics-oriented candidate in Fatih, Istanbul, to support departmental processes and customs/compliance activities in Turkey. You will assist in cross-functional projects, monitor import-export transactions, and coordinate shipments with finance and couriers, while maintaining English communication and MS Office proficiency.

Ideal for new graduates or 4th year engineering students with internship exposure in multinational environments, you will work closely

Qualifications

• New graduates or 4th year engineering students preferred.
• Internship experience preferred in multinational companies.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Fluent in English (oral & written).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks by deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the departmental Supervisor in reviewing processes, procedures, methods and tools within the department.
• Assist in achieving departmental and divisional KPIs and objectives.
• Participate in team and cross-functional projects to improve the department, increasing customer satisfaction, efficiency, lower costs and optimized inventory.
• Follow the UTS traceable system submissions for Striker Tibbi Operational activities.
• Follow changes in customs legislation in Turkey and assist the Logistics Supervisor.
• Be responsible for trade and compliance activities; update VATs on the MFG system.
• Support and monitor all import-export transactions in Turkey with customs broker employees, in line with local legislation.
• Support local transportation of goods from inbound area to Stryker warehouse locations.
• Communicate with customs broker office daily to check all import and export transactions.
• Provide regular updates to the Venlo Operations team for Turkey business requirements weekly.
• Follow up Medsurg projects with the sales and marketing team.
• Provide Operations reports to inside and outside customers.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Team in daily business transactions and targets.
• Coordinate incoming shipments’ payments to suppliers and customs broker with the Finance Team.
• Follow all flying kits shipments with courier.
• Be responsible for defining the couriers and following up the agreement process.

• Communicate with customs broker office daily to check all import and export transactions.
