We are looking for a " Logistics Director " for our client. Our client is a leading Energy company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end logistics operations for power plant construction and energy infrastructure projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment and materials to project sites.
• Oversee project cargo logistics, including the transportation of oversized, heavy-lift and out-of-gauge (OOG) equipment.
• Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies covering international freight forwarding, multimodal transportation, customs clearance, port operations and inland transportation.
• Manage the logistics planning and execution of critical power plant components, ensuring compliance with project schedules, technical requirements and regulatory standards.
• Responsible for local and global logistics operations management of operational countries worldwide,
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, health and safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations.
• Lead and develop the logistics team, establishing performance metrics and driving continuous improvement across logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the sector (minimum 5 years of managerial experience)
• Extensive experience in logistics management, preferably within the energy, power generation, EPC, or large-scale infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in managing project cargo logistics, including oversized, heavy-lift, and out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo transportation.
• Strong experience in logistics operations for power plant construction, industrial projects, or large-scale capital investment projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex logistics projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and delivering operations in line with project schedules and budgets.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required by project operations.
