Job summary

Ericsson Türkiye in Ankara is seeking an IT Test Engineer to join our QA team and ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our IT applications and solutions.

You will design and execute functional and performance tests, identify defects, validate environments and data, and work closely with development and cross-functional teams to enable stable releases. This role emphasizes test coverage, defect lifecycle management, and collaboration for high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related IT testing role.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and defect lifecycle.
• Experience designing and executing functional test cases.
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts and scripting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Kubernetes in testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design IT test cases.
• Plan, design, and execute functional and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts and unit tests.
• Execute manual and automated tests and report results.
• Prepare test environments, data, and scenarios.
• Troubleshoot applications and investigate issues found during testing.
• Document and track defects through lifecycle and coordinate with teams.
• Retest fixes and support stable production releases.
• Collaborate with development to analyze issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Improve test coverage, efficiency, and QA processes.
