Job summary

Ericsson in Türkiye Izmir is seeking a Software Developer to join the Mobile Financial Services team. You will contribute across the software lifecycle, delivering features from design to deployment with a focus on CI/CD, automation and secure coding practices.

The role emphasizes Java/Jakarta EE, Quarkus and modern containerized environments. You will collaborate on AI integrations, cloud technologies, and test automation while mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement in development

Qualifications

• Adequate degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Analytical mindset with ability to follow processes independently.
• Experience in troubleshooting, coding and updating existing code.
• Cloud technologies and Agile methodologies experience.
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash; Flask web apps experience.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions; Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines; automation-driven improvements.
• Build, manage and optimize containerized environments with Docker and Podman.
• Orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes and Helm across multiple environments.
• Develop and enhance internal automation platform using Python, Flask and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain Java-based apps using EJB and Quarkus; apply OO design.
• Integrate AI services into internal tools to boost productivity.
• Write and maintain automated test suites; perform load/perf tests with Locust.
• Follow security coding practices; perform unit, component and integration tests.
• Document CI/CD workflows and operational procedures; track tasks in Jira.
