Job summary

Ericsson in Izmir, Türkiye is seeking a Senior Software Developer to drive CI/CD architecture, automation, and cloud-native deployments. You will mentor peers, guide technical workstreams, and own components across the delivery lifecycle.

You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration with Kubernetes/Helm, and develop Java/Jakarta EE and Python-based tooling. Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

• A solid degree in computer science or computer/software engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work independently.
• Proven experience in software architecture and system design.
• Experience leading small teams or technical workstreams and mentoring.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Java/Jakarta EE, Spring, Hibernate, EJB and Quarkus.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting; Flask web apps.
• Frontend/backend integration and API design skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and version control.
• Security-conscious coding practices and test-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools and internal platforms.
• Lead small technical workstreams end to end with coordination across teams.
• Review code and designs; mentor junior developers and set engineering standards.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML and Bash.
• Build, manage and optimize Docker/Podman containers; orchestrate with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Deploy applications across environments (IAT, SIT, UAT, Production).
• Develop internal automation with Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop Java-based applications with EJB and Quarkus; apply OO design.
• Integrate AI services (Claude API and others) into tools/workflows.
• Design load/perf tests with Locust; analyze results and optimize.
• Develop automated tests with Robot Framework; write automation scripts.
• Follow secure coding practices; perform unit/integration tests; fix bugs.
• Document CI/CD workflows and operational procedures; track tasks in Jira.
• Support go-live activities with operations; participate in acceptance tests.
