Job summary

Confidential is seeking an IT Director to lead a large, multi-site organization across Türkiye and international markets. The role focuses on transforming IT into a strategic business partner, driving ERP initiatives, security, and digital programs across headquarters, projects, and field operations.

The candidate will oversee IT budgeting, governance, and vendor management while partnering with executives to deliver measurable business value through technology and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Industrial Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years IT experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing IT in large-scale, multi-site, complex organizations.
• Strong ERP and enterprise app expertise with transformation/large-scale integration.
• Strong infrastructure, networks, data centers, cloud, and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Proven track record in digital transformation, automation, and enterprise tech initiatives.
• Knowledge of data analytics, AI, and emerging technologies with business use cases.
• Experience in information security, business continuity, DR, and tech risk management.
• IT budgeting, procurement, licensing, contracts, and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead IT and Digital Transformation Strategy aligned with business objectives.

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to join a large-scale, multi-site group of companies with operations in Türkiye and international markets.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or other project- and field-intensive industries, who can position Information Technology not merely as an operational support function, but as a strategic business partner that drives transformation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline,
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in Information Technology, preferably including at least 5 years in a leadership role,
• Proven experience managing IT functions within large-scale, multi-site, and operationally complex organizations,
• Strong expertise in ERP and enterprise applications, with hands-on leadership experience in ERP transformation and/or large-scale systems integration projects,
• Strong managerial and technical understanding of infrastructure, systems, networks, data centers, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity,
• Proven track record in leading digital transformation, process automation, and enterprise technology initiatives end-to-end,
• Strong understanding of data analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify and develop relevant business use cases,
• Experience in information security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and technology risk management,
• Solid experience in IT budgeting, investment planning, procurement, licensing, contract, and vendor management,
• Ability to evaluate technology investments not only from a technical perspective, but also in terms of business value, efficiency, cost optimization, and return on investment,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and lead the execution of the company’s IT and Digital Transformation Strategy in alignment with overall business objectives,
• Lead the IT organization, team, budget, technology investments, and external service providers,
• Drive the integration, standardization, and effective utilization of ERP and other enterprise applications across the organization,
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and sustainability of technology infrastructure across headquarters, projects, and field operations,
• Partner closely with business functions to analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for digitalization, integration, and automation,
• Evaluate the potential business value of Artificial Intelligence, data analytics, and emerging technologies and translate relevant opportunities into actionable initiatives,
• Lead the information and cybersecurity strategy, including business continuity, disaster recovery, and technology risk management frameworks,
• Establish and continuously improve IT governance structures, policies, procedures, standards, controls, and performance indicators,
• Ensure the performance, security, and continuity of systems, networks, cloud environments, data centers, and end-user technologies,
• Evaluate and prioritize technology investments based on business value, cost, efficiency, risk, and return on investment,
• Manage technology vendors, contracts, software licenses, and service-level agreements effectively,
• Ensure that IT projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality objectives,
• Provide regular executive-level reporting on IT performance, technology investments, key projects, risks, and the digital transformation roadmap.
