Ericsson is seeking an IT Test Engineer to join the QA team in Türkiye. You will design and execute functional and performance tests, identify defects, validate environments, and ensure readiness for reliable production releases.

The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams and continuous quality improvement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software testing, a solid grasp of test methodologies and defect lifecycles, and strong analytical and communication skills

Formación

• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related IT testing role.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and the defect lifecycle.
• Experience in designing and executing functional test cases.
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts and preferably experience with performance test scripting.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Understanding of test environment preparation and test data validation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate complex application issues.
• A detail-oriented and quality-focused mindset.
• Good communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with development and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to take ownership of testing activities and follow issues through to resolution.

• Contribute to improving test coverage, testing efficiency, automation, and overall QA processes.
• Support stable and reliable software releases by proactively identifying quality risks.

About This Opportunity

We are looking for an IT Test Engineer to join our QA team and contribute to ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our IT applications and solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with development and other cross-functional teams throughout the testing lifecycle. You will design and execute functional and performance tests, identify and track defects, validate test environments and data, and help ensure that our solutions are ready for reliable production releases.

Your contribution will be key to improving test coverage, reducing production defects, and enabling stable and timely releases.
