Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Istanbul, Türkiye, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for an on-site role. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Git workflows, and collaborate across teams to optimize builds, releases, and deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IS or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, automation, and cloud environments.
• Experience with OpenShift, Docker, or other container orchestration platforms.
• Linux and Windows Server environments proficiency.
• Familiarity with web servers (IIS, Apache, Nginx, HAProxy).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform preferred).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines aligned with project timelines and quality standards.
• Manage source control systems using Git and implement effective branching strategies.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline build, release, and deployment processes.
• Integrate and maintain tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• Support and troubleshoot issues in Linux and Windows environments.
• Develop and manage containerized applications and orchestration platforms (OpenShift preferred).
• Implement and maintain GitOps and IaC practices (Terraform preferred).
• Collaborate on configuration management, release management, and database deployment processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and delivery efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular progress and risk reports to stakeholders.
