Job summary

J.P. Morgan Turkiye & Azerbaijan Coverage is seeking an Associate to drive origination and execution of M&A and capital markets mandates. You will work on deals across sectors, providing equity and debt capital markets advisory for listings, rights issues, and leveraged finance in the EMEA region.

Collaboration with global deal teams and ongoing professional development are key aspects. You will lead valuation analyses, build complex models, and coordinate from pitch to close while mentoring

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience (3 years if with a bulge bracket).
• Proven financial modelling / valuation skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of the transaction cycle for IB products.
• Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of Turkish macroeconomics.
• Ability to lead teams and manage projects; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute, market and cover work across industries and IB products.
• Research and analyse market data and companies.
• Prepare client presentations for transactions.
• Perform valuations (DCF, multiples, LBO) and analyse capital structures.
• Build detailed financial models and coordinate deal teams end-to-end.
• Lead analysts/interns and collaborate across regions and product teams.
