JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Istanbul, Türkiye, invites a Financial Control & Accounting Specialist to join the Legal Entity Control team.

You will own tax compliance, governance, and stakeholder support for Türkiye while supporting month-end close and regulatory reporting. You will collaborate with business and finance partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to guide tax, accounting, and reporting processes in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance/advisory and/or financial control, accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting, preferably within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Corporate Income Tax and Value Added Tax (VAT) concepts and processes, and practical familiarity with withholding tax, BSMV, and stamp duty.
• Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger processes in a controlled environment.
• Experience with IFRS and Turkish Financial Reporting Standards.
• Experience interacting with external auditors and regulators.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end tax calculation, filing/declaration, and payment processes for Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding tax, BSMV, and stamp duty.
• Advise on tax implications for new business initiatives and product launches.
• Monitor regulatory tax changes in Türkiye and implement into reporting and controls.
• Manage interactions with tax authorities including audits and information requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address tax, accounting, and reporting impacts.
• Coordinate with external advisors and internal partners to deliver compliant documentation and advisory.
• Prepare Transfer Pricing Reports for authorities and resolve related issues.
• Maintain daily book controls and investigate variances to uphold a strong control environment.
• Support month-end close, reporting, and balance sheet and P/L reconciliations.
• Assist in IFRS/ Turkish FRS financial statements and regulatory reporting.
