Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company in Istanbul seeks an Assistant Manager Financial Controller to join the Country Finance & Controlling Team for the Middle East region. You will oversee financial reporting, controls, and interactions with external auditors in a dynamic international setting.

The role requires at least 6 years of experience, IFRS knowledge, and strong English and Turkish language skills, with SAP and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in independent financial audit and financial reporting.
• Accounting and IFRS knowledge are must.
• Fluent spoken and written English; Turkish language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting for group and local statutory reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with 3rd party accounting, tax teams and external auditors.
• Perform variance analysis and reviews of financial statements.
• Manage month-end close activities with proactive planning and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure risk controls.
• Support global financial controls framework and local authority schedules.
