Job summary

CMA Group in Türkiye and the Gulf region seeks a seasoned Business Development & Technical Projects Director to lead project development across aviation, energy and industrial infrastructure. You will build strategic client relationships, coordinate proposals and drive successful delivery with EPC contracting and turnkey project delivery models.

The role requires a strong engineering background, extensive network, and travel readiness in Türkiye and GCC countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Proven experience in business development, tendering, project management or technical contracting.
• Strong background in airport, energy, industrial infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of EPC, Design & Build and turnkey project delivery models.
• Experience in technical and commercial proposal preparation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities in aviation, energy and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Build and manage relationships with airport operators, EPC contractors, government entities, consultants and industrial clients.
• Monitor upcoming investments, tenders and project pipelines across Türkiye and GCC countries.
• Lead prequalification, vendor registration and client approval processes.
• Coordinate technical proposals, commercial offers, tender submissions and contract negotiations.
• Develop strategic partnerships, consortium structures and subcontractor networks.
• Assess project feasibility, commercial viability, delivery risks and resource requirements.
• Support project planning, budgeting, procurement and execution strategy.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering disciplines throughout the project development process.
• Represent CMA Group in high-level client, partner and stakeholder meetings.
• Contribute to the Group’s regional growth and market-entry strategies.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Technical Projects Director to lead project development activities, establish strategic client relationships and contribute to the delivery of complex technical projects in Türkiye and the Gulf region.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities in aviation, energy and industrial infrastructure projects
• Build and manage relationships with airport operators, EPC contractors, government entities, consultants and industrial clients

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience
• Proven experience in business development, tendering, project management or technical contracting
• Strong background in airport, energy, oil and gas, industrial facility or infrastructure projects
• Sound knowledge of EPC, Design & Build and turnkey project delivery models
• Experience in technical and commercial proposal preparation
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost structures, project risks and subcontractor management
• Established professional network within relevant sectors
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Willingness to travel regularly within Türkiye and GCC countries

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman or Kuwait
• Experience with airport operators, energy companies, international EPC contractors or public authorities
• Knowledge of FIDIC and international contracting practices
• PMP, MBA or relevant professional certification
