Job summary

Codognotto group in Istanbul is seeking an Accountant to join our team. The role focuses on accurate, independent accounting within an international logistics context, collaborating with external consultants and Group Finance.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, 2 years of experience, fluent business English (B2) and solid Turkish tax knowledge. Proficiency in Excel and LOGO system is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years’ experience as Junior Accountant in an international company.
• English at B2 level or above.
• Knowledge of Turkish accounting principles and tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure timely recordings.
• Manage General Ledger, AR and AP in compliance with laws and internal procedures.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of records.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for local management and Group functions.
• Issue and control purchase and sales invoices.
• Perform customer and supplier reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Group Finance for timely reporting.
