CottGroup is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage accounting processes for a portfolio of clients in Turkey. The role requires deep knowledge of Turkish tax legislation, statutory filings, and strong English communication.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in accounting/finance, CPA preferred, and proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high data integrity.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• CPA/SMMM certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in accounting firms, audits, or consulting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish Tax Legislation and accounting standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Advanced English proficiency for professional communication.

Aufgaben

• Maintain client accounting records accurately and timely per Turkish Tax Legislation and Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations and statutory filings.
• Manage VAT, withholding tax, stamp tax, provisional tax, corporate tax, and related declarations.
• Prepare monthly/period-end financial statements and management reports.
• Provide financial analyses and client guidance on accounting and tax matters.
• Communicate with tax offices, SGK, and other authorities as needed.
• Support onboarding of new clients and transitions of accounting processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement needed updates for clients.
• Ensure compliance with KVKK and internal quality standards.
• Communicate with international and local clients in English when required.
