Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Susurluk, Balıkesir, Turkey, seeks an Indirect Buyer to join the Procurement team at our Susurluk factory. You will analyze needs, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-saving initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

You will report to the Indirect Procurement Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business goals. Fluency in English and experience with SAP/Ariba are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputable university.
• 4+ years experience in Procurement; food industry is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge SAP and Ariba.

• Analyze company needs for indirect procurement and develop strategic plans.
• Monitor market trends to identify suppliers and pricing opportunities.
• Create cost-saving initiatives and ensure sustainable procurement strategies.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality service.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to obtain best value.
• Develop supplier evaluation and performance tracking mechanisms.
• Improve procurement processes through automation and best practices.
• Implement cost control measures and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business needs.
• Provide regular reports on procurement performance, savings, and market developments.
• Support company-wide initiatives related to cost efficiency and supplier sustainability.

About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for Indirect Buyer to make a difference at Kraft Heinz Turkey. Indirect Buyer role lies within the Procurement team and is based in our Susurluk factory. You'll be working in a high-performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You'll be reporting to the Indirect Procurement Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze company needs for indirect procurement and develop strategic plans.
• Monitor market trends to identify the best suppliers and pricing opportunities.
• Create cost-saving initiatives and ensure sustainable procurement strategies.
• Manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers to ensure high-quality service.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best value for the company.
• Develop supplier evaluation and performance tracking mechanisms.
• Improve procurement processes through automation and best practices.
• Implement cost control measures and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.

What you bring
