Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Istanbul is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Executive to join the Controlling team. You will handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and period-end adjustments, and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or a similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, local statutory requirements, and preferably IFRS.
  • Experience in a multinational company and/or Big Four audit background is an advantage.
  • Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel; SAP or similar ERP experience is preferred.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement, process optimization, and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and other period-end adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting requirements, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding or aged items.
  • Monitor the accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other external parties during audit and statutory reporting processes.
  • Work closely with Controlling, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and other Finance functions to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and control environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation within accounting and reporting activities.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting requirements when needed.

About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an Accounting & Reporting Executive to make a difference at Kraft Heinz Turkey. The Accounting & Reporting Executive lies within the Controlling team and is based in our Istanbul (Akmerkez) Office. You’ll be working in a high-performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Responsible for performing various tasks and day-to-day operations under the scope of general accounting & reporting.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
