Job summary

UNFPA seeks an ICT Analyst to oversee ICT policies and Technology for Development (T4D) programmatic support in the EECARO region and country offices. The post blends core ICT operations with programmatic digital innovations to maximize impact on ICPD and SDG goals.

The role requires coordinating with the Digital Center of Excellence, guiding programme teams on AI adoption, and managing the rollout of digital tools while ensuring secure, reliable ICT services across the region.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
2 years of ICT experience, preferably in network infrastructure or cloud-based administration.
Experience with Technology for Development (T4D) programmatic support, preferably AI related.
Knowledge of local network infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts.

Responsibilities

Technology for Development (T4D) programmatic support (50%).
Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) integration and liaison for regional programmes.
Provide technical guidance to programme teams on AI and digital innovations.
Manage scoping, planning and monitoring of T4D initiatives and pilots.
Develop digital dexterity training for staff and promote AI adoption.
Contribute to strategic roadmaps for integrating technology into programme delivery.
Core ICT operations and resource management (50%).
Oversee ICT strategy implementation, security, and service delivery.
ICT budget planning and cost-efficiency measures.
Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of ICT systems.
