Job summary

UNFPA is seeking an ICT Analyst to oversee ICT policy implementation and Technology for Development (T4D) programmatic support in the EECARO region. The role balances core ICT operations with strategic digital initiatives, driving adoption of standardized solutions across regional offices.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced IT degree and at least two years of ICT experience, including T4D involvement, with fluency in English and Turkish, and a proven ability to collaborate with global CoE

Qualifications

Advanced degree in IT or related field is required.
2 years of progressively responsible ICT experience.
Experience with Technology for Development (T4D) programmatic support, preferably AI related.
Knowledge of local network infrastructure and security considerations.
Certifications in hardware/software management desirable.
Fluency in English and Turkish.

Responsibilities

Act as liaison between regional programme teams and the global Digital Center of Excellence (CoE).
Provide technical guidance to integrate AI and digital innovations into UNFPA programming.
Manage scoping, planning, and monitoring of T4D initiatives and pilots.
Develop training programs to foster digital dexterity among staff.
Contribute to roadmaps aligning technology with UNFPA goals.
Oversee corporate ICT strategy implementation and service delivery.
Ensure security, continuity, and infrastructure adequacy across ICT systems.
