Job summary

UN Women ECARO is seeking a Programme Specialist to support the Push Forward Strategy and regional governance initiatives. The role involves coordinating with Headquarters, UNCTs and Country Offices, developing analytical materials, and contributing to resource mobilization and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in public administration, law, human rights, gender equality, management, social sciences or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technically to the implementation and development of the ECARO Push Forward Strategy.
• Coordinate its implementation and provide guidance across the Regional Office and Country Offices.
• Monitor progress and prepare donor and UN Women reports.
• Synthesize analyses and develop knowledge products to inform regional programming.
