Job summary

Hutchinson PFW Izmir is seeking an experienced HSE & Sustainability professional to lead safety operations at our Izmir site. You will coordinate HSE activities, develop risk assessments, and implement ISO14001/ISO50001 practices across the plant.

Strong English skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset are essential. The role requires 3+ years in a similar position, certification, and the ability to communicate roles clearly to build an effective team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Safety certificate (Class B) required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HSE role.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Familiarity with ISO14001 and ISO50001 management systems.
• Excellent analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and communicate roles to build an effective team.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and supporting all HSE operational activities.
• Conducting HSE training for staff and safety inductions.
• Carrying out HSE risk assessments.
• Leading HSE work accident analyses and assessments.
• Developing dangerous goods and hazardous materials safety plans.
• Monitoring fire systems and auditing the processes.
• Supporting energy and environmental audit processes.
• Performing 5S audits and culture deployment.
• Ensuring compliance of the HSE purchasing process.

Your main missions

In this capacity, your missions revolve around various topics:

• Ensuring and supporting all HSE operational activities, (HSE - Board Meeting, HSE - Action plans, Audits internal and external, HSE Emergency, Actions and Reports, HSE-Discipline Management Shopfloor Tour, HSE-Technical Reporting, HSE Policy and Document Management and Implementation, HSE- External Company Management)
• Conducting HSE and work accident training,
• Conducting HSE-Risk Assessments,
• Conducting of HSE-Work Accidents Analysis and Assessment,
• Conducting of dangerous goods & hazardous materials safety plans –(education-reports-education)
• Monitoring fire systems, tracking audit process and controls,
• Supporting Energy & Environmental Audit Processes,
• Conducting 5S audits,
• Conducting Safety & Culture Deployment,
• Ensuring HSE purchasing process.

Your profile

• You have an Bachelor degree or equivalent education,
• You have Safety certificate. (Class B)
• You have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position,
• You have very good knowledge of spoken and written English,
• You have very good knowledgeof Microsoft Office Programs,
• You have knowledge of ISO14001 & ISO50001 Management systems,
• You have strong analytical and proactive problem solving skills, are result and detail oriented,
• You can organise and communicate the roles and responsibilities of each person to build a team and to improve performance.
