Job summary

Georg Fischer Hakan Plastik Boru ve Profil Sanayi Ticaret AS seeks an experienced HSE Executive to lead Occupational Health & Safety and Risk initiatives for GF Türkiye. The role drives zero-accident performance, regulatory compliance and robust risk management across operations.

You will oversee EHS programs, audits, investigations and training while ensuring alignment with ISO standards and Turkish regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years in Occupational Health & Safety, preferably in hazardous manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management systems.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish EHS regulations and global standards.
• Experience in risk assessment, investigations, audits and training delivery.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS and Risk Management programs across the site.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish laws, ISO standards, and corporate requirements.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions.
• Drive risk assessments and emergency preparedness programs.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and inspections.
• Manage contractor safety and environmental compliance.
• Support sustainability reporting and global risk projects.
• Organize EHS trainings, committee meetings and awareness initiatives.
• Monitor environmental processes including waste management and compliance.
• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to improve EHS performance.

We are looking for an experienced HSE Executive to lead Occupational Health & Safety, and Risk initiatives across GF Türkiye. This role will be instrumental in driving zero-accident performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening operational risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Risk Management programs across the site
• Ensure compliance with Turkish legislation, ISO standards, and corporate requirements
• Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions
• Drive risk assessments, emergency preparedness programs, and safety culture initiatives
• Coordinate internal and external audits, certifications, inspections, and compliance activities
• Manage contractor safety and environmental compliance
• Support sustainability reporting and global risk management projects
• Organize EHS trainings, committee meetings, and awareness programs
• Monitor environmental management processes including waste management and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to continuously improve EHS performance

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety, preferably in a hazardous manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related management systems
• Good understanding of Turkish and international EHS regulations
• Experience in risk assessment, accident investigation, audits and training delivery
• Advanced English communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• NEBOSH, IOSH and/or Occupational Safety Specialist certification is considered an advantage
