What you’ll do
- Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to leaders in a unionized manufacturing environment, advising on all people‑related topics.
- Support managers across the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, performance management, development, and employee relations.
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for production and professional roles, from understanding hiring needs to onboarding new employees.
- Drive talent development initiatives, including succession planning, internal mobility, and identification of high‑potential employees.
- Coach and support leaders in managing performance, engagement, and challenging employee situations.
- Partner with Labor Councils and ensure compliance with local labor law, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Coordinate and implement HR programs, policies, and change initiatives in close collaboration with plant leadership and the HR Manager.
- Support and contribute to ISO, compliance, and other internal (e.g., EBS & OpA) or external audits and follow‑up actions.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret HR data, KPIs, and reports, with the ability to translate insights into concrete actions for leaders.
- Lead local activities related to employee engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, and employee surveys.
- Contribute to and support HR projects, including organizational changes and people‑related improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. Legal and labor law certificate and knowledge is a plus.
- 5–7+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
