Job summary

Soho House is seeking an Assistant Head Housekeeper to join our team in Fatih, Istanbul. You will assist the Head Housekeeper in daily operations, supervise the team, coordinate room assignments and schedules, and ensure high cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. MS Office skills and collaboration with other departments are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Assistant Head Housekeeper or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Outstanding organisational and time-management skills.
• Proactive communication and interpersonal skills.
• Guest-oriented approach with strong problem-solving.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Housekeeper in daily housekeeping operations.
• Supervise and support the housekeeping team to maintain high cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate daily room assignments, schedules and priorities.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for standards compliance.
• Communicate room status accurately to Front Office.
• Monitor supplies and support stock control and orders.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance follow-ups.
• Assist with staff schedules and staffing levels.
