Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in training design and a proven track record in tourism/hospitality training. Travel flexibility and collaboration with managers are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Human Resources, Education, or related fields.
• Experience in training design and implementation is a must.
• Strong experience in the tourism and hospitality industry with customer service/hotel operations preferred.
• Advanced skills in educational technologies and e-learning tools.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work in teams.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience with various training methods (interactive training, seminars, workshops, etc.).
• No restrictions on travel.
• Experience with international brands in tourism.
• Concrete examples of successfully implemented training programs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough assessments of training and development needs using surveys, interviews, focus groups, and direct communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
• Designs and implements targeted training programs to enhance the skills and performance of service personnel in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism sectors.
• Develops, organizes, and delivers onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.
• Creates customized training programs to address specific job skill needs and improve overall employee performance.
• Develops and/or procures training manuals, guides, and course materials to support learning initiatives.
• Maintains detailed records of training activities, including attendance, assessment results, and retraining requirements.
• Measures program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and participant feedback, making improvements as needed.
• Keeps up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in training and development methodologies.
• Prepares and manages the training budget, maintaining accurate records and expense reports.
• Performs additional related duties as required to support organizational goals.
