Pubinno is seeking a Head of Software to lead a growing global software team, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring high quality delivery.

You will collaborate with Product, Hardware, and Embedded teams, promote Agile practices, and drive DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and observability to build the future of Draft tech.

Formación

• 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Backend development with .NET Core.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience managing DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Experience in Agile environments with short development cycles.
• High ownership mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow a high-performing software engineering team, focusing on technical excellence and personal development.
• Act as the primary technical reviewer — conduct code reviews for quality and performance.
• Guide architectural and design decisions balancing debt with business needs.
• Foster best practices in testing, observability, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Hardware, and Embedded teams to align technical direction with business goals.
• Own team planning, set technical goals, ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee DevOps and CI/CD practices, drive automation and operational excellence.
• Spend limited time on hands-on coding, focusing on critical areas and proofs of concept.
• Promote Agile processes and a feedback-driven development culture.

Here’s What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead and grow a high-performing software engineering team, focusing on both technical excellence and personal development.
• Act as the primary technical reviewer — regularly conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Guide the team in architectural and design decisions, balancing technical debt with business needs.
• Foster a culture of best practices in software engineering, including testing, observability, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Hardware, and Embedded teams to align technical direction with business goals.
• Take ownership of team planning, setting technical goals, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Oversee DevOps and CI/CD practices, driving automation and operational excellence.
• Spend limited time on hands-on coding, focusing mainly on critical areas, proofs of concept, and unblockings.
• Promote Agile processes and foster a feedback-driven, iterative development culture.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Expertise in backend development with .NET Core.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid background in managing DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of building and nurturing high-performing teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments with short development cycles.
• High ownership mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React Native for mobile application development.
• Familiarity with OLAP databases, especially in BI or device telemetry contexts.
• Previous involvement in IoT or connected device projects.
• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and CQRS patterns.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Application Insights, Log Analytics, or similar.
• Experience collaborating with hardware or embedded software teams.
• Background in industries requiring high system reliability (e.g., payment systems).
