Job summary

Fairmont Quasar Istanbul is seeking a guest service-minded professional to join our Front Office team. You will greet guests, handle calls, and ensure requests are resolved with warmth and efficiency.

Proficiency in English is required; Turkish language ability is essential. Previous hospitality or customer-service experience is an asset, and you will collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Front Office and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Good command of English and clear verbal communication.
• Previous customer-related experience is an asset.
• Guest service skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Computer literacy and basic hotel software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Process all external and internal calls either by redirecting calls or assisting the caller.
• Take ownership of the caller's request and ensure follow up according to the hotel's standards.
• Have a sufficient working knowledge of all departments, in particular Housekeeping, Front Office and Engineering.
• Maintain and monitor the "Reservation" software system.
• Serve as a liaison for Guests requiring information relating to all aspects of the hotel.
• Handle and distribute faxes, voice messages and written messages for internal and external Guests.
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.
