Job summary

Fame Marketing is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist for a fully remote, full-time role. You will own supplier coordination, production planning, and end-to-end purchasing across multiple regions, managing orders from PI to loading while tracking KPIs such as on-time production and landed cost.

You will work with manufacturers in China, Türkiye, and beyond, ensuring compliance with import requirements, optimizing costs, and coordinating freight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in International Trade, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of purchasing/logistics/foreign trade experience.
• E-commerce company experience with Amazon/marketplace focus required.
• Strong English written and spoken; ability to work with overseas suppliers.
• Solid knowledge of import processes (Incoterms, proforma invoices, customs docs).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; capable of cost modeling and reporting.
• Detail-oriented, persistent, able to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Able to work remotely with self-management and timezone flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturer communications and manage pricing, lead times, capacity, and sampling.
• Source new suppliers via Alibaba/1688 and other platforms; engage via trade fairs and outreach.
• Build production/order plans based on sales velocity and inventory levels.
• Track orders end-to-end from PI to production start and loading.
• Analyze FOB/DDP costs, freight, duties; monitor price changes.
• Arrange sea/air freight and coordinate with forwarders & customs brokers.
• Bridge product development and suppliers; ensure specs, packaging and certifications.
• Own order portfolio and report KPIs like on-time production, landed cost, order accuracy.
