Job summary

Citigroup seeks a GNB Türkiye Country Head to lead strategic direction, people management, and client coverage for Global Network Banking in Türkiye. You will oversee a senior leadership team, manage a portfolio of local subsidiaries of global corporations, and align with Citi’s global network to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in people management.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Both written and spoken Turkish proficiency is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to balance between internal management and external client time.
• Demonstrated understanding of compliance issues and regulatory requirements (global and local).
• Demonstrated intellectual grasp of the industry and ability to anticipate and lead the organizational response to future changes and translate vision into executable plans.

Responsibilities

• Assume Senior Manager role under Turkey policy for Global Network Banking (subject to regulatory approvals) reporting to Head of Corporate Banking and country leadership.
• Executive member of local ALCO, BRCC and other country senior management committees.
• Manage a sizeable client portfolio comprising local subsidiaries of global corporations; orchestrate local delivery of Citi's products and services.
• Formulate and execute coverage strategy, account planning, calling strategy and coverage segmentation for GNB Turkey.
• Identify growth opportunities by understanding regional trends and communicate a forward-looking vision.
• Lead a diverse team of Relationship Managers and Associates; build strong relationships with clients' CFOs, Treasurers, and CEOs.
• Provide network delivery by coordinating with Global Banking partners and creating cross-functional communication forums.
• Work with internal partners to develop innovative solutions meeting client needs.
• Understand local financial markets, Citi policies, and regulatory environment; develop strategic responses.
• Be aware of the competitive landscape and contribute to winning transactions.
• Analyze performance results and adapt strategy to optimize services and financial outcomes.
• Aim to be a trusted advisor by managing client expectations and handling difficult discussions.
• Increase market share and share of wallet for the portfolio.
• Ensure Compliance and KYC policies are followed and manage risk with proper escalation and governance.
