Job summary

Çalık Enerji seeks a Project Controls Chief for its Istanbul headquarters to lead project controls for major energy and EPC initiatives. You will shape planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting frameworks while driving digital tools like Primavera P6, SAP, and Power BI across programs.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership with stakeholder management, ready to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in large-scale Energy, Industrial Plant, or EPC projects.
• Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, and reporting.
• Knowledge of change management and risk management methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong command of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP and Power BI, supported by good written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project control frameworks for newly awarded projects in accordance with corporate standards.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and control activities to ensure compliance and performance.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to achieve project objectives.
• Review, validate, and ensure the timely delivery of accurate and consistent project reports.
• Coordinate executive summaries, management dashboards, Board presentations, and strategic reporting activities.
• Ensure proper project close-out reporting and facilitate the transfer of lessons learned into organizational knowledge systems.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project control procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Drive effective use and enhancement of SAP, Primavera P6, Power BI, and reporting systems while supporting digitalization, process improvement, and data governance initiatives.
