Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Director of Procurement for an international construction and investment project in Turkey. The role oversees end-to-end procurement, tendering, and sourcing strategies to align with project timelines and budgets, including high-value CAPEX and complex contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Extensive procurement experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, EPC, or large-scale investment projects.
• Expertise in CAPEX procurement, tender management, and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of construction-related procurement processes.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Willingness to undertake an international assignment for 2–3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for a large-scale construction project.
• Develop and execute procurement, tendering, and sourcing strategies.
• Manage high-value CAPEX purchases, complex tenders, and contract processes.
• Oversee procurement across materials, civil, electrical, mechanical components, and services.
• Work with engineering, construction, project management, finance, and legal teams.
• Manage strategic suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure cost, quality and delivery.
• Drive cost optimization and identify procurement risks impacting timelines.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary procurement team with regular reporting to senior management.
