Job summary

Beymen Group, a leader in Turkey’s luxury fashion scene, seeks a Sourcing Director to lead domestic and international supplier networks and drive cost efficiency across sourcing processes.

You will guide strategy, manage key supplier relationships, and champion sustainability and digitalization across the sourcing function. 15+ years in fashion/retail sourcing is preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Textile Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or production.
• Previous sourcing experience in fashion, textile, retail, or e-commerce sectors is preferred.
• Strong experience in managing both domestic and international suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of cost analysis, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
• Proven experience in supplier development and alternative sourcing strategies.
• Proven team management and leadership experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to combine a strategic perspective with strong operational execution.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination in a multi-functional environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness and availability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company’s short- and long-term sourcing strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Develop the domestic and international supplier and manufacturer portfolio, while managing strategic relationships with existing suppliers.
• Research and identify new suppliers, manufacturers, and production regions to establish alternative sourcing channels.
• Manage cost, quality, lead time, and capacity targets across sourcing processes.
• Analyze cost structures by product category and lead cost optimization initiatives.
• Develop negotiation strategies for purchasing and sourcing processes and lead critical commercial negotiations.
• Monitor supplier performance regularly and manage performance improvement and development initiatives.
• Analyze supply chain risks and develop alternative suppliers and production sources to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor market, raw material, production, cost, and global sourcing trends and provide strategic insights to senior management.
• Collaborate effectively with Design, Product, Merchandising, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations teams.
• Develop sourcing plans in line with seasonal and collection calendars and ensure timely execution of sourcing activities.
• Set objectives for the sourcing team, lead the team, and support its professional development.
• Monitor the sourcing budget and relevant KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Manage supplier relationships in line with sustainability principles, ethical production standards, quality requirements, and company policies.
• Lead the integration of digitalization, data analytics, and emerging sourcing technologies into sourcing processes.
