Job summary
Qualifai Ltd in Turkey seeks an experienced R&D leader to drive innovation across Beauty & Personal Care categories, including skincare, haircare, body care and deodorants. You will set strategy, oversee formulation excellence and product development on a global scale.
The role requires 12–18+ years in Cosmetics R&D, strong formulation and scale-up expertise, and proven leadership. Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Cairo are essential.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 12-18+ years of experience in Cosmetics, Beauty & Personal Care R&D.
- Strong expertise in formulation, product performance, testing and industrial scale-up.
- Proven leadership experience, commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
- Fluent English and willingness to relocate to Cairo.
- International experience in Turkey, Eastern Europe or Central Europe is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead R&D strategy, formulation excellence and product innovation.
- Drive global product benchmarking, fragrance development and ingredient innovation.
- Strengthen product testing, claims substantiation and performance evaluation.
- Lead scale-up, technology transfer and commercialization.
- Build strategic partnerships with fragrance houses, ingredient suppliers and technology partners.
- Develop high-performing R&D teams and collaborate with commercial and operational functions.
