Job summary

Eaton's Services team is accelerating growth by promoting and selling distributed services and products through phone or email. The Sales Support Representative (German speaker) grows revenue, enhances customer satisfaction, manages quotes, and builds strong relationships with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional degree.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in electrical/IT/telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell distributed services and products via phone or e‑mail; educate customers on the impact the product has on their business and offer related services or product replacements.
• Generate and follow up on service quotations sent to customers.
• Proactively understand and solve customer needs and identify solutions to non‑standard tasks/queries.
• Provide thorough follow‑up on ongoing quotes until receiving a purchase order from the customer.
• Contact customers based on generated leads to increase service revenue.
• Gain deep understanding of the distributed product portfolio and related services, maximizing sales potential.
• Establish professional and best‑practice contacts with customers.
• Co‑operate constantly with sales, finance, and product departments to acquire and maintain extensive knowledge of internal processes; collaborate with technical sales support and marketing.
• Instigate regular meetings with sales and channel managers to establish and verify forecasts and work progress.
• Take direct ownership of some accounts (e.g., contract renewals, less technical sales).
• Detect and escape problems or errors with data that the representative is responsible for.
• Manage service maintenance contracts and focus on upsell to capture new business opportunities.
