Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Interest in geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, mining operations and mine planning.
• Ability to analyse technical data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong interest in modelling, scenario analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Good understanding of geological, hydrogeological or geotechnical principles.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required by the assignment.
• Valid driving licence.
• Openness to international/regional mobility during year two.

Responsibilities

• Assist updates to geotechnical and hydrogeological models using site data.
• Review reports and identify data gaps and risks.
• Analyse groundwater levels and trends for mine safety.
• Assess slope angles, pit geometry and stripping ratio scenarios.
• Support optimization of mining operations while maintaining safety.
• Assist in automated groundwater monitoring system implementations.
• Contribute to hydrogeological audits and geotechnical assessments.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses for water management and mining optimisation.
• Prepare analyses, reports and presentations for site management.
