Job summary

New Mind AI seeks a seasoned Full Stack Developer to architect backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and Go. You will design microservices with gRPC, implement server-side events, and optimize data flows with MongoDB/Elasticsearch and Kafka.

You will mentor juniors, contribute to architecture decisions, and help shape scalable REST/GraphQL APIs in a dynamic AI-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Go.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and inter-service communication.
• Experience with server-side event architectures, caching and queueing systems.
• Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL and ORM usage (Prisma, TypeORM, Mongoose, Sequelize, GORM).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, and Go.
• Establish and manage gRPC-based communication in a microservices setup.
• Develop real-time apps with server-side events and efficient caching/queueing.
• Manage data with MongoDB/Elasticsearch and high-volume streams via Kafka.
• Ensure data access with ORM tools and create scalable REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to SDLC, write unit/integration tests, and shape architecture.

II - Who We Are Looking For?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Go technologies. This role requires deep knowledge and experience in microservices architecture, server-side event architecture, cache management, and queue management technologies.

III - What Will Be Your Responsibilities?

• Design and develop backend solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, and Go.
• Establish and manage gRPC-based communication infrastructures in a microservices architecture.
• Develop real-time applications using server-side event architecture.
• Optimize performance using cache and queue management technologies.
• Manage and optimize data using MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
• Handle high-volume data streams with Kafka and improve these processes.
• Ensure data access and management using ORM technologies such as Prisma, TypeORM, Mongoose, Sequelize, and GORM.
• Develop modern backend solutions with NestJS and Gin.
• Create flexible and scalable API solutions using GraphQL and REST.
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and follow best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests to improve code quality.
• Play an active role in software architecture design and make technical decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

IV - What Is Required from You?

• Qualifications: At least 3 years of professional software development experience, particularly focused on Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Go technologies.
• Experience: Deep knowledge and experience in developing applications in a microservices architecture.
• Expertise: Experience working with server-side event architecture, cache management (e.g., Redis, CouchBase), and queue management (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) technologies.
• Knowledge: Strong ability to design and develop complex and large-scale web applications. Expertise in gRPC design, integration, and inter-microservice communication.
• Skills: Ability to develop high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions. Experience with SQL databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, and expertise in query optimization.
• Competencies: Experience with ORM technologies such as Prisma, TypeORM, Mongoose, Sequelize, and GORM. Knowledge and experience with NestJS, GraphQL, Apollo, and Gin. Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. Team-oriented with high communication skills and the ability to mentor. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in these processes.
