Job summary

Soho House via Caterer.com is seeking a Front Office Receptionist to warmly welcome guests and Soho House members, manage check-in/check-out, and support concierge duties.

The role requires fluency in English and Turkish, the ability to stay composed under pressure, and flexible hours including weekends if necessary. Knowledge of Opera PMS is preferred to manage reservations and guest services.

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of service delivery for guests and Soho House members.
• Ability to work under pressure coordinating many requests.
• Approachable and reliable demeanor.
• Flexibility to adapt as the job changes.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays if needed.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS System and guest handling.
• Fluent in English and Turkish, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Care for hotel guests throughout their visit.
• Take initiative to deliver first-class service.
• Manage check-in, concierge duties and check-out.
• Greet guests with a smile and eye contact.
• Escort guests to rooms and assist with luggage when possible.
• Present front of house presentation and maintain ambience.
• Operate telephone and hotel property management systems.
• Assist Reservations with enquiries and bookings.
• Ensure strong communication with all departments for guest requests and feedback.
• Familiarize self with hotel layout and facilities.
• Handle reception cash and transactions.
• Know surrounding area to assist guests with queries and upsell where appropriate.
• Understand bedroom layouts and features to inform guests.
