Job summary

YEO in Kartal, Istanbul, is seeking a highly skilled Foreign Trade Specialist to handle export/import, incoterms, and cross-border logistics. The role requires strong English, ERP experience, and ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure on-time shipments and compliant documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in foreign trade, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proven negotiation skills to manage complex shipping arrangements and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from relevant departments of universities
• Minimum 5 years of experience in import, export, transit trade, customs, and logistics regulations and operations
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to negotiate effectively
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, payment terms, and delivery terms
• Solid understanding of international law, customs regulations and economics
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP systems
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to take initiative

Responsibilities

• Carry out operational processes related to foreign trade (export, import, transit trade, customs transfer, and logistics); prepare and track all required documents
• Prepare and manage letters of credit and related documentation such as documentary credit and LC-related paperwork
• Follow up and manage temporary importation processes
• Handle and track all documentation and processes related to tax-exempt (export registered) entries and shipments
• Plan and coordinate international and domestic shipment operations; maintain coordination with customs brokers and logistics providers
• Coordinate with Project, Accounting, and Finance to ensure timely submission of relevant files
• Manage collection, tracking, and reporting of incentive-related documents
• Prepare reports on export, import, transit trade and logistics and present to senior management
• Create and maintain organized archives of records and documents

At present, we are seeking a highly skilled Foreign Trade Specialist to join our team in Kartal, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from relevant departments of universities
• Minimum 5 years of experience in import, export, transit trade, customs, and logistics regulations and operations
• Advanced level of English proficiency
• Solid knowledge of Incoterms, payment, and delivery terms
• Strong understanding of international law, customs regulations, and economics
• Proficiency in MS Office programs, especially advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to take initiative and make quick decisions

Description:

• Plan and coordinate international and domestic shipment operations; maintain effective communication and coordination with customs brokers and logistics providers
• Work in coordination with Project, Accounting, and Finance departments to ensure timely and accurate submission of relevant files
• Manage the collection, tracking, and reporting of incentive-related documents
• Prepare all necessary reports on export, import, transit trade, and logistics, and present them to senior management
• Create and maintain organized archives of all relevant records and documents within the scope of the position
