Job summary

Mavi, a global lifestyle brand based in Istanbul, is seeking a Foreign Trade Associate to join its Sourcing and Supply Chain Department. The role focuses on managing import/export transactions, preparing documents, and coordinating with international partners to optimize trade flows.

The ideal candidate has a university background in relevant fields and at least 3 years of foreign trade experience, with strong MS Office or SAP skills and solid English communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from university departments such as Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, International Relations or Foreign Trade.
• Minimum 3 years of import/export operations experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Good level of English.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to cooperate and work in a team; strong planning and organization skills.
• Knowledge of Export/Foreign Trade terminology and regulations.
• Master foreign trade and customs regulations; expert in international contracts, delivery and payment methods.
• Competent to follow up import/export/domestic and international transportation/customs clearance processes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out import and export transactions in accordance with the law, legislation and institutional procedures.
• Prepare export documents.
• Organize and follow-up export transactions.
• Communicate with the relevant countries subject to export and carry out the processes.
• Organize and follow-up import transactions from beginning to end.
• Carry out foreign trade processes in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Carry out the document flow, reporting and logistics processes of foreign trade operations.
• Follow up customs transactions and prepare the necessary documents.
• Manage the letter of credit transactions with the parties in purchasing and sales transactions.
• Carry out transit trade processes.
• Ensure communication and coordination with customs consultants.
• Follow up express package transactions.

We are looking for an Foreign Trade Associate to join our Sourcing and Supply Chain Department.

What will be expected of you in this role?

• You will carry out import and export transactions in accordance with the law, legislation and institutional procedures,

• Preferably If you have at least 3 years of experience in the field of import and export operations,
